On Friday mornings when I wake up I could almost taste the delicious smells that travel through the house! I know that Shabbos is on its way.  The smell of homemade challah,  fresh chocolate cake and cinnamon cake and potato kugel cooking in my house is just outrageous! The chocolate cake that my mom makes is really the best cake ever. Its dripping with melted chocolate and it is just so delicious!

Sometimes my mom adds different toppings on the Challah. Sugar crumb topping, everything topping, garlic and salt, they are all delicious! My favorite is the crumb topping. It makes the Challah taste like babka. Let me get back to the chocolate cake! Sometimes my mom makes it in different shapes like flowers or stars and it really looks pretty but every once in a while she just makes it in a regular tin and we could just cut away at it as we like. The melted chocolate stays melted even if it’s not warm! And it is so awesome with a cup of chocolate milk or ice Coffee! What a way to start Shabbos morning!
